Pride and Sugar!

I take pride in most of my daily activities, like my photography, cleaning my home, caring for my unborn child, loving my dog, spoiling my husband, and making my bed. There are some many things that I take pride in actually, now that I think about it! But there is one thing that I leave my most pride within...

My cupcakes.

Man, I really do enjoy baking cupcakes. I try to make some for each holiday, birthday, special event, and "just-because" reason! Being just me and my husband, it's kinda difficult to make a dozen cupcakes and not totally pig out on them - so that they don't go to waste of course!!! So I try to stick to the special occasions so that I can bring them for multiple people to share and enjoy!

These are my most recent creations! I made them for, obviously, Valentines Day! Valentines Day is always wonderful for me and Dan. We went out to dinner this year at Calico's off Salt Lick Rd, and oh boy was it wonderful! I was given a card, chocolates, and a massage gift card. I gave him a new hand drill, which he needed badly! (I know, so romantic right?, but he loved it!)

Recently, my sister-in-law Jessi had a Pampered Chef party! If you have never been to one of those, if you are ever invited, GO! They have such wonderful items and I love each thing that I have bought from there! Anyways, I bought an icing dispenser at her party. OMG. It's my new favorite toy! It came with like 7 different tips and is soooo easy to fill, use, clean, and enjoy!

Each step I do is documented below in photos. I highly enjoy making delicious cupcakes and sharing them with others! My baby is due around St. Patrick's Day, so I might miss that holiday... But don't worry, maybe I will have "Baby" cupcakes!! I'll even use the mini cupcake pan! Awwww!

Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

Bruehl Photo Shoot!

Talk about a cutie! Madison turned 3 years old last month and I was given the honor to take her pictures for her birthday! She took a little bit to warm up to the fact, but after she got comfortable we got some really really adorable photos! Her accessories made her session more of a fashion shoot!
She was the best at being silly!

Madison is also going to be a big sister in May! Hannah and Shaun (mom and dad!) blessed me with the honor of shooting their wedding last year. Talk about an awesome couple! I think their maternity photos turned out to be stunning! The babies room had a very fresh and clean look! Bright orange walls and super nice furniture await this little boy or girl! I love capturing these moments with families...

I posted a handful of their photos, but I posted a lot more on my Facebook page! Feel free to leave comments!

First Baby Shower!

I was so excited to see all of my family and friends at my shower! Everyone told me how good I looked (which is something you should tell every pregnant woman!) I think I did a pretty good job about talking to all 58 of them, but if I missed you, I promise you will be getting a thank you card!

The pictures pretty much tell the story of what I was given. I cried at the end of the presents b/c everyone was way too generous! I can't thank them enough for all that Little Miss has received!
There were so many pictures of me opening presents! (Thanks Lauren!) I created a collage with a handful so you wouldn't become bored looking at ALL of them!
My Mom and Grandma got us our travel system and my Aunt Debbie and cousin Kayla made the diaper cake!!
Me and my beautiful sisters and mother! Ever wonder where I get my looks from?? ;)

 Kayla, Anna, and Jenny!
Dan came by after all the women left and went straight to the present table! He was shocked at how much we got!
This is my favorite present because it was more for me! I collect Willow Tree figurines and Anna got this for me! Love you sis!!

My wonderful and perfect baby shower would not have happened if it wasn't for my amazing family!! I want to thank ALL the people who were involved to make this day truly enjoyable and relaxing for me!

~My Mom let 56 women into her clean and beautiful home! She worked so hard the 2 days before hand to get her house ready for all of us girls!! She loves me so much!
~Anna (sister) came home from college for the weekend! She helped my sister Jenny keep track of all the gifts I had opened and who gave them to me.
~Jenny (sister) wrote down every gift that I opened and who gave it to me.
~Sammie (sister) passed me all the gifts so I wouldn't have to stand up. She also put together my travel system which apparently took about and hour...
~Lauren (cousin) took lots and lots of pictures! I was so thankful to have her there to take them, b/c that is usually my job!
~Kayla (cousin) helped out so much with all the food and drink preparations!
~Aunt Susan brought the fancy cupcakes and cookies! The lady that she hired to make them did such a great job! The were so yummy!!
~Aunt Debbie helped my Mom prep and keep the food in stock during the shower. She cut all the fruit too!
~Grandma made the chicken salad and man was it good! She also helped with all the preparations!

Holy cow, that wore me out just thinking about all the things they had to do for that day, and I know I didn't include everything!

LOVE YOU ALL!
